Job Title: Mechanical (CX) Engineer - Data Centre Industry
Location: Fully Remote (Ireland/UK-based, with travel across Europe as required)
Salary: €50,000 - €60,000 per annum

Role Overview:
The Mechanical CX Engineer will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between engineering and customer satisfaction. You will focus on providing technical support, managing mechanical system performance, and ensuring seamless customer experiences in the design, installation, and ongoing operation of Data Centres. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic, remote team and travel across Europe to interact with key clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing support and ensuring optimal performance of mechanical systems in Data Centres.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project management, and operations) to ensure that client needs are met and exceeded.
- Manage customer relationships and provide timely technical solutions for any mechanical issues or concerns.
- Conduct site visits and audits across Europe, assessing mechanical systems and providing feedback and recommendations to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Provide technical training and support to clients and internal teams on mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Monitor and track mechanical system performance to identify opportunities for improvements and upgrades.
- Ensure all projects are delivered in compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and client specifications.
- Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for mechanical systems in Data Centre environments.
- Support the creation of documentation, including reports, system manuals, and maintenance schedules for clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within the Data Centre industry.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, cooling systems, and other mechanical systems used in Data Centres.
- Experience with customer-facing roles, providing technical support and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote working environment.
- Willingness to travel across Europe for client visits and project assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams effectively.
- Proficiency in CAD, HVAC design software, and other relevant tools is a plus.
