Systems Engineer

I am working with a great client looking for a Systems Engineering Consultant

Tasks

• Analyze and evaluate the operational performance of technical systems within aircraft equipment.
• Manage logistical measures to support helicopter systems.
• Develop customer solutions in avionics and functional equipment through technical analyses at both equipment and system levels.
• Address obsolescence issues by implementing suitable replacement items.
• Create repair procedures for aircraft equipment.
• Contribute to the design, improvement, and modification of aircraft equipment.
• Prepare verification and qualification documents for aircraft equipment and subsystems.
• Facilitate the approval of modifications to aircraft equipment, procedures, and alternative spare parts with relevant authorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., CVE, MPB) and coordinate with external organizations, such as the German Armed Forces Aviation Office, BAAINBw, and OEMs.
• Maintain strong communication with public contracting authorities and repair/equipment industry partners.

Profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, aircraft engineering, or a related technical field.
• Initial, preferably relevant, professional experience.
• Proficient in MS Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint and Excel).
• Strong written and spoken proficiency in German and English.
• High attention to quality and detail.
• Ability to analyze and present simple processes and optimization opportunities.
• Strong organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Initial experience in cost-effective design and consulting.
• Excellent presentation skills and experience creating professional presentations.
• Exceptional customer and service orientation.
• Ability to identify business opportunities within professional activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to build lasting professional relationships.
