The Role - Responsibilities of the Senior GNC Engineer:

We're seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer to lead the development and implementation of advanced GNC systems for space missions. If you're passionate about space, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a knack for solving complex problems, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of GNC algorithms and systems for spacecraft.
  • Integration & Testing: Oversee the integration of GNC systems with spacecraft hardware and perform rigorous testing to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams, mission planners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of GNC solutions.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation by researching and applying cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance GNC systems.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

The Candidate - We are looking for the Senior GNC Engineer:

  • Experience: A significant degree of experience in GNC engineering, with a proven track record in spacecraft systems.
  • Education: We are looking for the best Senior GNC Engineers qualified to Degree but ideally with a Masters Degree in either Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or another relevant analytical subject.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in GNC algorithm development, simulation tools, and real-time control systems. Experience with spacecraft dynamics and kinematics is essential.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for working in a dynamic team environment.
  • Passion for Space: A genuine interest in space exploration and a drive to contribute to groundbreaking missions.
